bananomics.shop is the home of The Weekly Jungle, the free newsletter of Bananomics, a sole proprietorship based in Quebec, Canada. By using this site or subscribing to the newsletter, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Education, not advice
Bananomics is an educational entertainment brand. Everything on this site, in the newsletter, in our videos, in our podcast and in our tools explains how money and the economy work, in general terms.
None of it is financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. We are not licensed financial advisers, and nothing we publish takes your income, debts, country or situation into account, because we do not know them. Before making a decision about your own money, speak to a qualified professional where you live.
We check our facts and sources with care, but figures change, and mistakes can happen. If you spot one, tell us and we will correct it.
Your access
The newsletter and its archive are free. You log in with a code sent to your email, so keep access to your inbox to yourself. We may suspend access that is used to abuse the site, for example by requesting codes for addresses that are not yours.
You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.
Our content
The texts, illustrations, characters, videos and audio of Bananomics belong to us. You are welcome to share links to them and to quote short passages with credit. Please do not republish whole issues, resell our material, or present it as your own.
Purchases
Our tools and bundles are sold through Gumroad. Payment, delivery and refunds are handled there, under the terms shown on each product page and Gumroad's own policies.
Links to other sites
We link to services we do not control, such as Spotify, YouTube, Instagram and Gumroad. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Limits of our responsibility
The site and the newsletter are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, Bananomics is not responsible for decisions you make based on our content, or for losses that come from using, or being unable to use, the site.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
